Student Services Department

Orientation:
New students are given briefings on matters pertaining to their programmes/courses, fees, accommodation and the rules and regulations of the college. They are also advised on personal safety and security matters while living and traveling in the country. A city tour is organized for new foreign students joining the January and April Intakes.

Counselling:
Counselling services on academic and non-academic matters are also available to all students. Friendly and helpful counsellors are always on stand-by to assist students.

International Student Services:
The International Student Office, located at the Student Services Department, looks after the welfare of all international students. A range of assistance and services are provided to students after they are accepted for admission. These include application and renewal of accommodation, student visa/pass, free airport pick-up, free telephone call back home upon arrival, opening of bank account, periodic reporting to parents/guardians of students, etc.

Insurance:
All
bona fide students of the College are provided with free Personal Accident Insurance which covers up to RM15,000. It provides a 24-hour, worldwide coverage against accidental death or bad injury through various stipulated causes. Foreign students are required to subscribe to a Medical Insurance cover which can be arranged through KBU.

Club and Societies:
Students can expect to benefit from a holistic learning environment at the
College. There are student clubs and societies to enrich the social, cultural and sporting interest of students. All students are welcome to join these clubs and societies as they enable them to broaden their horizons through the exchange of experiences within the international student community at the College.
