This programme is designed as an alternative route to prepare students with SPM, GCE’O’ Level or equivalent qualifications for further studies in the business disciplines, especially for those who do not wish to take the traditional STPM or GCE A-Levels route to higher education and professional studies.
The Diploma in Business Administration (DBA) provides ideal opportunity for students who have interests in understanding the fundamental elements of how a business operates. Students in the DBA course enter a multifaceted world of knowledge, as the conduct of business requires an understanding of a wide range of skills in communication, IT, finance, operations and human resource management and marketing. A DBA graduate is an all-rounder in having gained a comprehensive and holistic perspective of the world of business and will be desired in business enterprises as a valued member of a business team or as an entrepreneur.
- Duration: 2⅓ years (7 semesters) at KBU
- Entry Requirements: 3 relevant credits in SPM or GCE ’O’ Level or equivalent qualifications
