My favourite hangout is 1Utama. It’s like 5 minutes away!

I love being a university student because you get to express yourself freely without so many restrictions as compared to high school

I know I made the right decision to study this course because I believe I possess the qualities to excel in this field of study.

Choosing my course

I chose this course because I think it has bright prospects in the future. I actually chose to major in management but changed it at the last minute! Coming from a family of marketers, I grew up learning about the changes in the market over the years.

My course

The course teaches past and current market trends and revolutions. With the help of case studies, we’re better prepared to deal with real issues in the future.

The best bits about my course

We get to do tons of presentations! In addition, while researching markets and organisations, I get to meet many important and interesting people along the way.

My challenges

I personally procrastinate a lot and face time management problems but I reward myself every time I complete a task on time!

Extra-curricular activities

I am currently the Honorary Secretary of the Student Council. Besides that, I’m also a Scout.

Looking ahead

I’m planning to further my studies while working so that I can gain working experience. My ambition is to climb the corporate ladder and be the woman on top. I’m pretty confident about my career prospects.

My advice

I would like to encourage all of you out there to choose a course which you’re really interested in. Of course, it’s all the better if graduates of that particular course will be in high demand in the near future. It’s really a downer to get stuck with a job that you have no passion for.
