We are pleased to inform you that the Malaysian Immigration Department has approved your Student Pass Application. Enclosed is a sealed envelope containing an approval letter from the Immigration Department addressed to the Malaysian Embassy / Consulate in Beijing / GuangZhou / Shanghai. (Please do not open this sealed envelope) Please approach the Malaysian Embassy / Consulate with this sealed envelope to obtain a visa endorsed onto your passport. You can then plan your journey to Malaysia.

Please take note of the following before your departure to Malaysia:

  1. Inform the Student Services Department (SSD) at least 7 days before departure of your travel plan. You must provide information on the airline, the flight number, as well as the date and time of your arrival at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). Please avoid coming on Sundays or on major festive holidays, e.g. New Year Day, Christmas Day, etc.
  2. When you arrive at KLIA, board the ‘Aero-train’ to get to the Main Terminal building, where the Immigration check-points are located. You will be met by KBU staff just before the check-points, and they will assist you with the Immigration procedures. To enable KBU staff to identify you, please remember to stick the KBU sticker on the upper left side of your shirt / blouse.
  3. Transportation will be provided free-of-charge to take you to the college. If you have parents / relatives accompanying you, let us know the number of persons involved. Please note, however, that transportation for those accompanying you will only be provided, if there is space in our vehicle, otherwise, they will have to arrange for transportation separately, and at their low cost.
  4. Please remember to bring along the original copies of your Health Examination Report together with the original Laboratory Results and Chest X-Ray Film and Report. Please note that the student pass / visa can be cancelled by the Malaysia Immigration Department, if your Health Examination Report is unacceptable.
